I loved the original movie and the show, but neither really delved into the real meaty issues of the book.
Never saw the movie, the TV show was mostly awesome. Loved the book, but I sort of wish I had read it before some of the critiques and general weirdness about Buzz had come out.
I want to see this because I like Leigh Whannell but I’m afraid it’s going to fall into the John Wick/The Raid mold of emotionless, ultraviolent, hyper-choreographed action that I don’t like at all

It's not that John Wick-ian. You'd probably like it.
There isn't tons of action in it, but what action there is seems really amateurish to me. It has one of the lamest car chases I've ever seen in a movie.
My main complaint is there is way too much setup to a story we've seen 10 thousand times. We know what's going to happen. Get on with it. Karate chop some dudes to death already. It has it's moments, but I was bored.
It was funny how much this guy looked and acted like Tom Hardy.
