Kong: Skull Island. Decent popcorn flick but I just can't get wrapped up in a movie that relies on so much CGI. It's like watching a video game. I think that factors into why I don't care much about all the recent super hero films. |

Watched Power Rangers. It was so rote and by the numbers that it was kind of insulting. There was one part that I really liked, and I think it was just because it caught me off guard: The t-Rex zord is walking through the streets and dude kicks a yellow Camaro and says, "Sorry Bumblebee!" and that just hit me for some reason. |

Finished Get Out this morning. Amazingly the only "spoiler" I had been exposed to was
I really liked the movie. There was only a moment or two where I was thinking, "Well obviously this is going to happen next" and it actually happened. I liked the surprises, kept me guessing. |
