The Corroborators was okay. Pretty engrossing at times, then super tedious at others. Some really neat editing tricks.
Really loved Thirst Street. Was not expecting much from that one and it caught me by surprise
THE DISASTER ARTIST is up next

I thought you already saw Disaster Artist. You loved it. Am I living in the future?

No, I watched and loved The Shape of Water last night. I have also watched and, to various degrees, enjoyed a couple other movies in the festival, but I don't want to spam this thread with festival stuff. The Disaster Artist is tonight.

The Beguiled (2017).
A boring non sense. Kidman and Farrell are alright, the girls are pretty awful.

The Disaster Artist is just wonderful. I'm hurting from laughing so hard.

"Boy" - Pretty good, Waititi definitely evolved into a better director with his more recent movies.

I watched Let the Corpses Tan and for the first 10 minutes I was like pfftttt this is such heavy-handedly trippy acid western / Zabriskie Point wannabe bullshit, but then it got suuuuuper fucking good

Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri. The cast was uniformly great and the movie is entertaining throughout, but it felt tonally lopsided, like it tried to be an earnest human drama and an absurdist black comedy at once and it doesn't completely gel at points.

I read that a lot of people walked out of this in both Venice and Toronto. Was that the case there, Jorge?

I only noticed a couple walkouts, but my eyes were glued to the screen the whole time
