The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
That movie is pretty average, but it gets points for making the zombies suicidal terminators. By contrast, The Walking Dead's... er, walkers, are so much less threatening.

It's just a clumsy telling of the story with an annoying metatextual twist, very plain and artless on a visual level, with at least three highly questionable casting choices. It has its charms, I like Saoirsie Ronan a lot, but the 94 adaptation is better in every way.
From that list watch The Owners. I don't really know what it is.
What are the three highly questionable casting choices? Bob Odenkirk is one. Meryl Streep, too. Who is three?

Paths of Glory
Very stuffy, small in scope, simple, bland. But with Kubrick you always get some beautiful shots and memorable, quirky moments. Seems it was a victim of its time. I’m sure it was great for its time. Would like to see a more fleshed out remake.
The Other Guys - I've seen this a few times and it does a lot of things that work really, well and others not so much. The latter seemed to stick out more to me this time, so i'll probably not watch it ever again. Not even if there's a fire.
Blade Runner (The Final Cut) - I watched the first half a few weeks ago, in anticipation of finishing it the next day and watching 2049 soon after. Neither happened and I forgot, so I finished it last evening. I believe this is my only second time seeing this version, and it's definitely the preferred, but still there's always been something that just doesn't take it to the level of it's acclaim. I wish it didn't.
Witness - This was a beautiful movie outside of the thriller scenes. Kelly McGillis had a weird looking chest.

I spent a few days with Lukas Haas once. Had no idea who he was until later.
I saw him at Cannes Lions once. He looked really weird and out, almost scared. He was staying at Hotel Martinez and every night everyone went partying at that lobby.
I recognized him and thought about talking to him but didnt do it.
