Kill Bill Volume One.

Finished with 2003 now, moving on to 2004.

I’ve still never seen the second one. And I even own it.

I saw part 2 in the theater and bought it when it first came out on DVD. It's still in the shrinkwrap.

I saw both of them a few times when they first came out, but I haven't watched either in years

They're on the list of movies that I'm not sure if I would like any more, so I don't watch them.

I used to like Vol 2 better because it was more dialogue-heavy and "cerebral," but then I watched both again somewhat recently and Vol 1 is far and away the better movie

I think I'm going to do a full Tarantino rewatch after I wrap up PTA, so I guess I'll find out soon.

Weird double feature today:

Everything Everywhere All At Once.
Chip and Dale Rescue Rangers.

Both were very enjoyable.

Watched Chip and Dale with the nephews and we all thoroughly enjoyed it.

It's a great movie to watch if you want kids to genuinely be interested in you explaining random references from your childhood.

Eternity and a Day. by Theo Angelopoulos. Really beautiful

Crip Camp on Netflix. Very moving and also fascinating from a political organizing standpoint but felt like it skimmed over a lot of stuff

I was hoping to rewatch inherent Vice Last night, but my cat brought in two live Chipmunks, so that dominated my evening.

Hopefully I'll have a quiet night tonight and I can watch it.

the move at the end with harper was brilliant and something i haven’t seen before.

kinnear was a delight.

i actual read the movie as incredibly straightforward, w little pretense. it’s so literal.

It was straightforward. But I think the end result of that is that there isn't enough to chew on for me. Just kind of like: "hey, let's make some weird body horror stuff." "Ok, cool, but why." "Oh, you know, regular arthouse horror movie reasons, don't worry about it. Let's just do some weird body horror stuff. But, like, society, too, ya know?"

Everything, Everywhere all at Once.

I liked it a lot, its a little long, maybe half an hour long, but its really fun and compelling. And the cast is awesome.
