The Vanishing (1993 USA remake, by the same director as Dutch 1988 original)
let us know how you feel at the end and if you understand why I was so adamant that you watch the original first
I already know what's going to happen. I just want to watch it all the way through to see how it feels. So far I really like Jeff Bridges in the creepy role. I don't know why I doubted him. Sandra bullock might not have the charm of the other lady.

Love it. There are a few cringe lines, mostly from Hathaway, but other than that I really enjoyed the movie.
I love how ambitious and well made it is. Story gets a bit over the top I think, which is the only thing keeping it from being about as good as any movie had been in the past decade.
I was overwhelmed with nostalgia watching this even though it was the first time ever seeing it. So many iconic images from that time (Liv Tyler mostly).
Anyways, pretty terrible movie. What a poorly run business!
True story, i first time saw this on a double program with Pulp Fiction in 1995 on HBO. Very late at night and i was going on my school trip at the morning so i kinda slept all the trip.

Long Shot Seth Rogan Charlize Theron
This was supririsngly good. A feel-good, fun, modern, politically-tinged romantic comedy starring Seth Rogen as a drug-abusing schlub journlist who strikes an unlikely romantic affair with Charlize Theron running four president. I laughed and I got teary-eyed. A fun ride.
