The last 10 minutes of Death and the Maiden are some of the most dizzying, challenging cinema ever made.

It. It was alright. If I were 16 I'd probably think it was the best thing ever. The monster is garbage and not remotely scary, and the middle dragged, but I'll give it a pass.

Probably be better if they chopped a couple of characters and shortened it by several minutes.

Be sure and like and subscribe if you liked my review.

One of my favorite movies ever, no doubt.

One of the very few stage adaptations that actually works and doesn't lose impact as a film.

Edge of Seventeen.

Good not great. Loved seeing a female coming of age movie actually written and directed by a woman. That's refreshing. Great characters. Solid writing. Loved the subjects and themes tackled. But as a film it just didn't quite come together. It was missing cinematic elements. It would have been a brilliant book/short story.
