Part of the humor of it all is the weird choices, left turns it makes throughout. Think Big Lebowski. It's quirky. Channing Tatum's arc is quite hilarious, if you think about it. They can make a Fargo when they feel like it. But this isn't that.

Don't ever compare this movie to Big Lebowski again.

Are you kidding? Extended musical/dance sequences, meandering plot, goofy characters. Very similar, dude.

That one was pretty boring. There are certainly aspects I like, but on the whole I find it pretty forgettable

Now that I think about it, those four are all more concerned with exploring a particular era and place than they are with telling a story.

The Coens have never made a bad movie (aside from Ladykillers). It's just a matter of preference which ones you like most.

i havent seen Inside Llewyn Davis nor Hail Caesar! and the netflix one. I felt a little tired with them after True Grit.
