Interesting start to this.

If you think the start is interesting, just wait until you get to the end!

Collateral Beauty

«Retreating from life after a tragedy, a man questions the universe by writing to Love, Time, and Death. Receiving unexpected answers, he begins to see how these things interlock and how even loss can reveal moments of meaning and beauty.»

Will watch this first. Starting now. Never seen it before.

That was fully an all-star cast. The movie did have some memorable scenes, but lacked something to make it really shine. Felt like they used too much time setting up everything in minute detail. Worth watching, but not a great movie.

Will finish Neon Demon next. After that one I will have 60 movies left from 2016 (40 I’ve never seen before, and 20 rewatches).

Loved The Neon Demon. One of the best 2016 movies I’ve watched so far this year. Very atmospheric, beautifully shot, never fully know what will happen next. Underrated.

A Cure For Wellness

«An ambitious young executive is sent to retrieve his company's CEO from an idyllic but mysterious "wellness center" at a remote location in the Swiss Alps, but soon suspects that the spa's treatments are not what they seem.»

Hopefully this is good as well.

A Cure For Wellness is really well made film. Despute an incredible story, everything feels natural and true. Really good.

Colossal

« Gloria is an out-of-work party girl forced to leave her life in New York City and move back home. When reports surface that a giant creature is destroying Seoul, she gradually comes to the realization that she is somehow connected to this phenomenon.»

Good first scene so far.

The first Men in Black movie is actually filled with interesting and creative stuff, with some really cool practical efects and creatures. Pretty funny too, in a PG-13 kind of way. Vincent D'Onofrio is amazing. It's a shame the terrible sequels have diluted its legacy

It was interestiing. Not sure it fully managed to do what it set out to do. Felt like it went in one direction, then another. Both personal and also this grand sci-fi story.

Took my nephew to see Fast X. I didn't hate it, but it wasn't good. Momoa was entertaining and it moved pretty quickly, but the cheesy dialogue sounded like it was written by an AI and Vin Diesel was just awful.

Really liked To Catch a Killer. I'm not sure it would have been on my radar if I hadn't heard good things about it in this thread. So thank you, RM, for all that you do.
