This was good. Best of the 2018 Oscar movies so far, with only three left.
I’ll be here when you come back to say this was the best of the lot. It really was though.
Ummmm... no. Not even close.
I thought it was a really well told story. Emotional and true. Something that everyone can relate to. With only Get Out and Lady Bird left, it has a good shot.

Wait, wasn’t The Post in there too? That’s by far the best. Get Out is a distant second.
I’ve got The Post on third so far, after The Darkest Hour and Call Me By Your Name. All good movies.
Watching Lady Bird and Get Out this evening, starting with Lady Bird in 5 minutes.
Lady Bird was a fairly traditional coming of age story. I liked that it had a clear beginning, middle and end. Even if it was over a fairly short amount of time, you could feel that it was pivotal in the life of the main character, and it would be even if she looked back ten years from the end.
Get Out was great. I did not expect it to be so good. The last half an hour was pure class. I thnk the build up was good, from the slow start, and then progressing piece by piece. I won’t spoil anything, but it was probably my favorite of the Oscar movies of 2018.

I'd be willing to bet he left in in there for the people who only know him from his comedy shows. I'm also willing to bet that it's still in Us but in a much smaller capacity.
