Watched Relatos Salvajes (Wild Tales) for the second time, trying to give it another chance. Liked it even less. This movie kind of sucks I think.

I saw it twice back in 2015-16. It’s in my final 20 movies I will see from 2014 in the coming two weeks. Absolutely loved it then. Hope I still do.

It's shot competently but the writing is so bad in every single story

it has a lot of money, thats the best thing about it. It shows, but the movie is so boring and the stories are so fucking obvious.

The airplane scene alone is iconic. I often think about it.

What's so impressive about it? It really reminds me of the kind of things 18 year olds come up with in their first year of screenwriting class.

We paused it, because my wife felt it was too violent for her.

We’ve now watched the first 40 minutes of the Russian movie Leviathan.

Leviathan was relentlessly bleak. It can be seen as a criticism of the corruption in the Russian government under Putin, but as a movie, I would have liked some redemption, justice or revenge of some sort. Still a well made movie, glad I saw it.
