The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
I remember I was in Miami when it happened. I was posting from the balcony of my apartment overlooking the beach. And I was having an argument with Adamdude.

how was it
I thought it was fucking great. Which means Mickey probably didn't like it.
That's not true! You like unbearably corny shit like Andrew Garfield musicals but otherwise our tastes are relatively compatible.

but you are more of a theatre guy in my mind, so it was kinda impossible for you not to like it right?
Im concerned if this one is more filmed theatre than anything else.
I have about 40 minutes left in it, so I'll have to see how it ends, but I would say it's good but not great. It's definitely not "filmed theater" in the style of like, Lawrence Olivier versions--the camera is an active presence here, but it's certainly very theatrical in the delivery and minimalist in the set design. Those things don't bother me at all, I think it's a very good version of Macbeth and Washington is phenomenal. But I don't know that it's much more than that.

It's highly stylized and theatrical but it's not a filmed theater piece. It's definitely a film adaptation. And you should watch it if for nothing else than the lighting and cinematography. You're gonna shit when you see them composition and texture.

Yeah, I finished it and it's definitely worth watching.
