I liked it better this second time. It has some issues, but it's still stronger than Quantum Of Solace.

Will see Spectre next.

This was better then I'd expected, and somewhat of a surprise given this isn't the James Bond I'm familiar with - this guy pretty much fumbled from one set piece to the next and lucked his way to a win

I watched On Her Majesty's Secret Service this morning. It was pretty good, and I didn't have high hopes going into the first one without Sean Connery.

Lazenby is a bit stiff, but it's a good movie. Was supposed to be with Connery, and could have been one of his best. Instead, we got a Connery-comeback, for possibly his worst.

Spectre was good as well. The whole brothers thing was a bit much, but highly entertaining movie.

The easiest to compare are Connery and Moore, where Connery edges it with better movies and better acting. But I do think Moore sometimes get just a little too much criticism on RM.

Lazenby had a good movie, but with only one, and stiff acting, as Bond, he will end up ranked last, in sixth place.

Dalton and Craig have a lot of similarities. Fine actors, who’ve played Bond a bit rough and tough. I think both of Dalton’s movies are pretty good as well, though not top level, like Goldfinger, The Spy Who Loved Me, GoldenEye and Casino Royale. So all in all, Dalton comes fifth.

I think Brosnan’s got it as an actor, and as Bond. I just wish his movies were better. But the last two of his four are some of the worst. I would only rank one of his movies above Dalton’s and Lazenby’s best. He gets extra credit for being as smooth as Connery, and as witty as Moore. On acting alone he probably deserves second, but taking the quality of the movies into account, he ends up fourth.

Roger Moore gets third place. After watching all the Bond movies in a month, I can honestly say, that the only time I got bored was with the last two Brosnan movies, and a couple of the Moore movies. With seven movies though, there is also a lot of legendary material. Never was Bond more effortlessly funny, yet he could also be tough as a nail. Kicking that car was cold.

I do think Craig lacks a little charm, and in his romances the women seem less impressed with him, just like with Dalton. But I think he’s played Bond real and vibrantly, and they have managed to put together a strong narrative for the movies.

Connery’s movies may be old, and even feel a little dated. Yet, no one did it better, and in average that goes for his best movies as well.

The House on Haunted Hill (original)...not bad at all

all i want to watch are horror movies right now, but it's one of my least favorite genres so finding one on streaming that looks interesting enough is become increasingly difficult

Saw Halloween Kills tonight. It was so bad that it was good. I had a lot of fun rooting for Michael to kill all the dumb as shit characters.

Silent Hill is interesting because you can see the exact moment the producers took control of the filming and ruined it.

Sweet Smell Of Success

Have seen 400 movies from the 1950s, and I'm catching up again with some of my favorites. Have rated 140 as good (three stars or above), 52 of those at least four stars, and 20 five star movies.
