Yeah I ignored that. It ended up 50/50 anyways so no help there.

Actually put on gangs of New York afterwards but fell asleep after a short while.

Three Billboards: I liked it; I can see why it was so popular during awards season.

Wonder: Effectively sappy. It was weird seeing Julia Roberts as a dowdy mom and Owen Wilson was miscast in a dad role that didn't do much. Jacob Tremblay is an amazing child actor and I thought the kid playing Jack Will did a great job too.

LOL. "The Outsider" on Netflix. So dull and full of worn-out tropes that it borders on unintended camp.

Did you not see Jared Leto was in it? He couldve ruined Blade Runner 2049 if he got more screen time

Nonetheless, I thought it was a brave move for Hasbro to tackle the subject matter.

Killing of a Sacred Deer. Not much happens the first half but the plot pace picks considerably in the second half. The last act is bonkers. Colin Ferrell is all middle aged now and Nicole Kidman does her usual fine work, again mostly in the second half. Barry Kerough, who was also in Dunkirk, is pretty good as the antagonist. The director uses a lot of slow pans, wide angle shots, and sterile lighting to create a Kubrick feel at times.

Phantom Thread.

Loved it. Wonderful performance by Daniel Day Lewis. Loved the framing, the composition, the score. Loved the comedy and the tense moments.
Delightful. P.T is a true cinema genius.

Thor Ragnarok: Are the other two this fun and funny? Loved it.
Shape of Water: Best picture? Wtf? A Fish Balled Wanda
3 Billboards: Not Best picture? Wtf?
Back
Atomic Blonde: Fun and stupid. Can’t believe they don’t edit shit on planes. I was watching some hot girl on girl sex next to a stranger.
Murder on the Orient Express: This was awful.
Wonder: After school special. It was fine. Never been a Julia Roberts guy, but I found her very attractive. Has she grown into her mouth finally?
Borg vs. Macenroe: This should have been more fun. Shia didn’t even have to act.
