Well it was immersive for sure. And kind of beautifully written if you like every thought from the protagonist feeling like an inspirational quote with a photo of forests in winter or endless waves or some such.
But overall felt like it was a pitch to be made into a series. Second book I’ve read recently that had this vibe and I’m pretty sure it isn’t me just thinking that. It’s what the author is going for. Sadly.
This is a book by a Russian quantum physicist. You can call it a law of attraction type of book, but it really goes into many aspects of life. Just about 800 pages. Very interesting take on reality, and how to control it. There is info about the book on the web, youtube, etc....
I reading 2 historical fictions right now. The Mirror and the Light by Hilary Mantel on my phone for my commute. The Land Beyond the Sea by Sharon Penman on my ebook reader for just before bed.
I never finished this and i dont think im going to try.
I dont know why i didnt like it but im realizing that this is kind of my problem when it comes to reading. Ill get into a book and try and foce myself to finish it, it stays on the virtual shelf, and then i fall out of habit of reading.

Ordered this from Amazon, so I'll be starting it this week. Loved everything of his up through Cryptonomicon. Bailed on Quicksilver because it got way too into the history and science, and it seemed like Anathem and Seveneves were even worse in that regard. This one is supposed to be more a page turner like his earlier stuff, and the sequel seems to be well-liked too.
reread of breakfast of champions...trying to get back into reading so figured i'd start with a short read...it's hard for me to pick a favorite vonnegut, but this is definitely a contender.
