I didn’t know this  My favourite James Joyce story is ‘the dead’ in Dubliners. Just found out the house it’s set in is just down the street from my house Knew it had a connection to Joyce, there’s a plaque outside I never read and the bridge right outside is called James Joyce bridge, it’s right on the Liffey, but the house is the setting to that’s story? Cool

Finished up the Preacher comics. Pretty good. I can see why folks love it. Not exactly my jam but I still appreciate what it has to offer. Glad I read it. |

 Fools and Mortals - Bernard Cornwell Heard a long interview with Bernard Cornwell and was really charmed. He has a million great stories and tells them well so got his latest one. It’s great stuff so far. Set in Shakespeare’s theatre company and from the POV of his younger brother. Will be looking into more of his work after. |

A Supposedly Fun Thing I'll Never Do Again The television essay is kicking my ass right now. it's so long! It keeps wandering back and forth between "hey, there's some good ideas and critiques in here" and "hey, you could just say you hate people who watch too much TV instead of raiding a God Damn thesaurus". |

I feel like I would enjoy a classroom discussion about it that spanned a couple weeks just because of the myriad of ideas in it. |
