I just finished this--great reference to the Providence mafia at one point. McCarthy is a native Rhode Islander.

kinda tedious towards the end, but not bad.

Don't know if I'll finish this one. The characters are kinda dull. It's ok. I can see how it has been very influential.

Midnight's Children by Salman Rushdie. Really enjoying this one, but can't read more than a few pages today without getting sleepy
