i've seen the first few seasons of the show, but no idea how or when it deviates

but this has less to do with my enjoyment and more to do with my concentration, laziness, retardation

well, for starters, that book was written in the mid-80s.

so i should picture everyone in these:

i wish i could get a different mental image of everything when i read that is not exactly like the show

I love how in the midst of some nice lyric poetry about nature and love, he drops a truth bomb in The Marriage of Heaven and Hell about how Jesus and Satan are on the same team, good and evil are subjective, and organized religion is the devil.
