i read the novella and title story from Goodbye, Columbus today. has some incredible moments, but there are too few of them. impressive that such a young writer made it, though.

Thankfully the author limits each chapter to like five pages; the development of this industry has thus far been covered in succinct, digestible chapters, each with a historical character serving as a sort of avatar. It’s a great approach.
