Finished up both, The Secret History of Twin Peaks (excellent) and Raven Girl (fun quaint and lovely modern fairytale). Not sure what's next. Maybe my first Franzen. Or my second Rushdie. Then there's that Roth just sitting there on my shelf waiting to be read.
Of course, I might also just veer left and buy that Obi-Wan Kenobi book, too.

Have you ever just dropped a book you’re not enjoying reading? I’m mid way through the second book in a trilogy and it’s just a chore but I know it’ll annoy me if I drop it but it’s an annoying read too.

What’s the millennium books? I’ve only ever abandoned one other book and it still annoys me cos there were two cool threads happening in it but the rest was atrocious.

Yeah, the Millennium books were a bit of a bear in the middle but I love revenge stories so the ending was really satisfying.
I mean, they're not bad per se but they do have a slow middle period.
