What were your feelings on Moriarty?
I thought the guy did a good job. Could have been given more of a run but I'm not sure how that would fit with canon. If it does at all

I thought ending him early was a great idea, because it got the thing people know most about Holmes out of the way.

If I'd known he was gonna be replaced by the same "don't miss this season's villain" escalation shit that Moffat ran with Who, I might have sung a different song.

I think a lot of the holmes canon is more from the movies than the books. I'm only halfway through vol. I of the collected sherlock holmes, though. They're fun stories but I needed a break after a bit.

I'm two out of three episodes in, and I'm Not feeling season three much. Bleh. First episode was a mess and the second was a slight improvement. Maybe it's the length for these silly plots and limited relationships. We get it, they are best of pals. I'd take more super villains any day.

Christ, I don't remember Watson being this whiny and incompetent. "You should put that on a t shirt" indeed.

I like how disgusting Magnusson is. Funny. Yeah I would definitely prefer more of this.

Also, season 2 episode 3 retroactively sucks.

Also also, the mind palace thing was painfully obvious and the Mary thing was only surprising in a "no way they would be that dumb" sort of way.

Maybe season four will be Sherlock and Mycroft. That would be more entertaining.

I think two seasons would have been fine.

That third season was a trainwreck. Kinda puts me off the whole thing.

The return episode was uneven, but I loved the second and third.
