The best one is the one with the two spiders and one has the scary mask and says “”did I scare you?” and the other one shits a huge pile of web.

That seems to be a large consensus! I’ve never loved that one (not more than numerous others anyway), but I think you’re in the majority here.

Love the Fifi one. Surprisingly dark for Gary.

When my sister spent a month in the hospital back in '08, me and my folks were by her side and really unsure if she would pull through. I bought the Far Side collection deluxe set (two large fancy books in a slip-bound case with every published panel, plus lots of backstory, letters to Gary Larsen, and more). It brought us a lot of good humor during a very dark time.

I started following Adam Koford on instagram years ago. I don't remember how. He workshops his stuff on instagram under @apelad. It's nice break from feed monotony while scrolling.

Reid this is good, but his Instagram isn’t really panels ir stripes, mostly just pics of his takes on established Marvel/DC characters.

Mowing grass really is insane. I'd love to tear it all up and replace it with rocks or something.

Late last year I got the urge to buy a Far Side page-a-day calendar, which I hadn't had since the late '90s. I was always very disciplined about not going forward a day, and it was always so much fun to get a new comic every day. I searched and searched and it turns out they haven't made those in years--bummer. You can grab the complete Far Side for under $50 now, though, so I'm thinking about getting that next paycheck.

If it's the same set we got some years back, I think it's totally worth it.

It really sucks that Larson kept the far side off of the internet. I wonder how many people under 20 even know about it?
