I just finished season 1. About 2/3rds of the way through this series actually became quite good. A few things I hated about characters ended up paying off, people became much more comfortable with their roles, the fight scenes got much better, the humor was more comfortable, and the plot was pretty compelling. This ended up being worth my time.
I think it's more likely that you got acclimated to mediocrity
a well meaning but somewhat stock and predictable response that mirrors perfectly the first half of season 1 of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, which actually makes this an impressive piece of meta-posting.

For anyone who is still watching this: after last night's episode is the time frame of Avengers: Age of Ultron. The last two episodes of the season in the coming weeks take place after Age of Ultron, so watch that first. You've been warned.

I really wish that this show was just a little bit better and not so goofy. I've really enjoyed how they have done this season around events leading up to Ultron and how the final two episodes take place after Ultron. It is a great concept for sure and has me looking forward to the movie a little more. The show is just too, I don't know, "out there".

Season's too long. They don't have enough meat to flesh out the story arc, so they fill it with boring shit.
- We have to fight Ward and Hydra. - We have to work with Ward to fight Hydra. - We have to fight Ward and Hydra. - We have to fight Ward who's no longer with Hydra.
I complained about the same thing with Arrow, but it's a mess on this show.

Arrow is way too long a season (23 episodes I think) but they keep my interest a little more.

I do and I agree it was pretty awesome. I can't wait to see how they get back there and if Will managed to kill "IT".
doone is the Fitz to my Simmons in this thread.
I was going to ask if I could be Simmons since I'm a girl but I think I'm okay being a Scot.
oh, haha. Yeah I guess I got that backwards.
I saw an interview today with Simmons and she was saying the effort to get back there will be a "background" storyline the rest of the season, but that the rest of the team will be aware of it as well. I might watch it again, that was a really great ep.

i am really confused on who or what the inhuman on the planet is (for that matter what planet it actually is)
i thought for sure they were going to say that planet was where a strange being named uatu resided
Peeps, I've seen some people theorize that it is Attilan/blue area of the moon. Which could work except the multiple planets in the sky in the background, right?
