I'd be so much more interested in this if I thought they could match 10 Cloverfield Lane

Good.

Now I'll never know how the Ice Age saga ends.

Ma Rainey got slighted. Should have several more noms including Adapted Screenplay, Best Director and Best Picture.

Also, why is Borat adapted screenplay? What's it adapted from?

I think the definition of adapted is very broad. Before Midnight was nominated in the adapted category because it's based on characters from Before Sunrise and Before Sunset. Toy Story 3 was nominated as adapted because it's a sequel. Original really means original

Glad to see Sound of Metal get a BP nom. I liked that one a hell of a lot better than Nomadland and Chicago Seven.

I've only seen Borat, Another Round, and Promising Young Woman. I'm looking forward to both Judas & the Black Messiah and Minari. And I'll eventually get around to watching Mank, Nomadland, Chicago 7, and some others. Is what it is

Anxious to see Minari and I’m sure I’ll enjoy Chicago 7. Sound of Metal floored me, and I’d be shocked if it won BP but I’m very happy to see it get the nom.
