Whedon seems like a horrible person. Like a real top shelf piece of shit. Buffy was awesome though. Ray Fisher feels off to me. I wouldn’t be surprised if everything he says is true or if he made it all up. I can’t get a feel for him except he seems like one of those guys that is his own worst enemy.

A bad actor in both senses?

I don't understand why he agreed to it!!! He comes off awful in the full interview
Also like the most annoying person on earth:

Joss “is a layered and complex communicator,” one longtime collaborator told me. “His tone is deflecting, it’s funny, it’s got wordplay, rhyme, quote marks, some mumbles, self-deprecation, a comic-book allusion, a Sondheim allusion, and some words they only use in England. This means you, the recipient, have to do some decoding. You have to decide if there was a message in there that was meant to correct you, sting you, rib you affectionately, or shyly praise you.”

i mean i haven't read the profile and don't have any prior opinion nor attachment to whedon, but that quote jorge posted makes him sound like your average film nerd trying to play inside baseball and flex his knowledge, which, yeah, is basically all we do on RM
