Fifty Shades Darker, The Mummy, Daddy’s Home 2, and Boo 2 are better than 90% of the Oscar nominees.

So is Marvel the only "cinematic universe" that hasn't fizzled out?

I like that the new Mary Poppins is shot like Dunkirk I like my children's movies to be gritty. Does anyone remember color?

I'm so glad you put a link so we can share in the palette-bashing.

Yep, that's pretty bleak. Where's Duke Nukem?

Almost the whole teaser is before Mary arrives. Seems like things are cloudy and bleak for a reason. As soon as she shows up, the clouds literally part and the one moment you see of her in the house at the end is very warm and yellow. Seems purposeful.

I was impressed by the look of the thing. Some great depth in the images and some interesting camera movement. The movie could still end up being a pile of shit. But the trailer made me even more excited to see it.
