Yea, he's got a gift for drawing realistically acerbic characters. Watching Frances kick those kids in the junk was enormously satisfying.

It's always funny to me though when you go out of your way to point out race and then have a 99% white cast.

Yea, that does seem a little tone deaf. But then if he shifted this particular story to feature a black woman, he'd probably get called out for pandering.

Sometime later this year. I'm not sure if the official release date has been announced yet.

It trailer just dropped. Looks promising. Weird that it's not subtitled "Part 1" or "The 1950s" or something like that. Wonder how they'll handle the ending, both from the standpoint of whether or not they'll be greenlit for a sequel, as well as (ending spoiler)
Spoiler: show
the kids having sex.

I just watched this earlier - I'm pretty excited by this. I'm wondering if they'll have the scene with the flying leech things - that was the main thing that freaked me out in the book

It does look promising. But I'm hoping it's not just Stranger Things.

Yea, I had the same thought. The visuals in this are more compelling, I think. Nice use of color throughout the trailer.
