from Bone Tomahawk, to Dragged Across Concrete, to Pupper Master: The Littlest Reich, the gritty, visceral films of S. Craig Zahler have captured RM’s collective imagination like no other filmmaker in recent memory. it’s high time we honor this bold, original filmmaker with this own thread. please discuss the man’s brilliant films here.
below is a picture of S. Craig Zahler

He's a metal musician too, unsurprisingly. I've heard some of his music. It's good!

Super talented dude. I love how visceral and sincere his films are. They seem like lost ones from the 70s
He is now writing a very fitting movie for Ridley Scott but I need him to make a new one soon.

The

- murder of Carpenter's character
just felt super mean spirited in a way nothing else he'd done had. It colored the rest of the movie for me. It might've been because my wife was pregnant around that time.

I loved that because it totally subverts expectations. And yes it was violent and yes we should see it.
Yeah maybe it was because of your personal stuff but damn if that moment wasn’t powerful.
Wanna see this one again

Oh it was super powerful. Just made my blood run cold in a way few movies have before.

Well that’s a bonus

I'm a fan. Making blood run cold is this guy's specialty.
