After the explosion in E1, they run like two blocks and immediately transition from a bucolic residential street with massive Victorian style single-family houses into what looks like Flatbush. Where would that be possible in NYC? Bay Ridge maybe? Or like out in the Rockaways or something?

That the other John and Jane were there to take them out. Even tho they still had 2 fails left, for some reason the company wasn’t happy with them and wanted them gone. Now I guess they were just being tested? Judging by the next episode, it looks like they at least don’t think John is going to work out.
