In the last week I watched the following movies -

Out of the Furnace
The Color of Money
Cool Hand Luke
Poseidon Adventure
Slapshot
The Verdict
Last Voyage of the Demeter

It's actually quite a tough call to pick a favorite. None of them were bad.

I'm going to say Cool Hand Luke, but it could easily have been The Verdict.

The Work was the best one. A documentary about a four day group therapy session they do once a year at Folsom Prison. Very intimate and intriguing.

The Flash, Kodachrome and Happy Death Day in a close race for second place.

This thread seems redundant.

Love Paul Newman.

My favorites of his are:

Cool Hand Luke
The Hustler
Hud
Nobody’s Fool
Cat On A Hot Tin Roof
The Sting
Hombre
The Verdict
Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Absence Of Malice

Not seen What A Way To Go!, Somebody Up There Likes Me, Slap Shot, Torn Curtain, Paris Blues, Harper, The Long Hot Summer, Sweet Bird Of Youth, Sometimes A Great Notion and a few others. Sure one or two of these can make it into the top ten.

I saw Hombre last week and I loved it. I'd definitely recommend Slap Shot. It was very funny and just interesting to see Paul Newman playing a scumbag.

Butch Cassidy, Absence of Malice, The Sting and Towering Inferno are all at the top of my to-watch list.

I watched a pretty cool video on how to find the knock sensor on a 1987 corvette on youtube.

I saw Towering Inferno last year, and it felt more dated than the other movies (and I even love the better movies from the 1930s). Perhaps because that genre has developed so much over time.

I’m sure I’ll get to the rest of his movies over tiime. I love watching him act.

My interpretation of the rules was the last seven days. So today that is from Friday 11th to Thursday 17th.

Well, the only movie I've watched this week was that Gal Gadot turd on Netflix. "Heart of Stone". I'd hate to say it's the best I've watched, so I better watch something else.

Yes. I really don't want to open up the "which day is the first day of the week" can of worms

The best movie I watched in the last week is Run of the Arrow. I will update when
a) I watch a better movie
or
b) it has been over a week since I watched that movie

whichever comes first.

If anyone would like to keep a spreadsheet as I (and tommy, Anders, others) update, I would welcome that.

I've recently been introducing my daughter to some movies that I think she should have seen, so have seen some good ones lately.

In the past week its been:

The Shawshank Redemption
Fallen
The Sixth Sense
The Stand Stand By Me

Whilst I would say each of those was independently excellent, the best of those is still a pretty easy pick, not gonna lie.

I watched this last night at the request of my wife. It's so bad in so many ways, but she really enjoyed it, so that's the main thing I guess
