Tickets were in the 8-9 dollar range then they are 12-14 now. That's national average it could vary obviously. If you look at the three day numbers they compare to Ant-Man. It's not as good as it looks on the surface. Won't really know till after next weekend how it will fair.

In the weekend of May 26-28, 2023, the domestic box office charts had some interesting shifts.
1. The Little Mermaid debuted at number one, earning $95,500,000 in 4,320 theaters, for an impressive average of $22,106 per theater. This was the film's first week in theaters. It was distributed by Walt Disney Studios Motion Pictures.

6. About My Father also debuted this weekend at number six, earning $4,250,000 from 2,464 theaters, with an average of $1,724 per theater. The film was distributed by Lionsgate.
7. Kandahar debuted as well, coming in at seventh place, with earnings of $2,410,000 from 2,105 theaters, for an average of $1,144 per theater. It was distributed by Open Road Films (II).
8. You Hurt My Feelings entered the chart at number eight, pulling in $1,389,158 from 912 theaters, an average of $1,523 per theater. The film was distributed by A24.
9. Evil Dead Rise dropped to ninth place, earning $1,052,000, a 56.5% decrease from last week. Now in its sixth week, the film's total gross is $66,200,000. It was shown in 921 theaters, down by 1,252 from last week. The film was distributed by Warner Bros.
