This is a very simple important piece as to how it performed on opening weekend, I think. The strike ended, what, the day before release. None of the leads could do any promotion for it at all in the months leading up to the release. That’s a LOT of marketing that simply didn’t happen. I’m not saying it would’ve led to super significant increases on BO totals, but it did make a difference, here.

Nah. People may be getting tired of them, but there is definitely a decline in quality.

Wait, are you actually watching these movies? Can't it be both?

I don't think that moves the needle much at all these days.

I hadn't seen one since Thor, until these miscreants bullied me into watching this yesterday.

While the marketing for these movies are vital, they released the trailer with very little fanfare or not at all. Loki didnt have any marketing too and its been praised as a good show.

I think they knew the movie was awful.

And it can be both, but it's hard to tell if people are tired of superhero movies if they haven't been shown a good one in a while.

It's one of those sophisticated high IQ jokes that you have to think about for a while.

It's important to be able to laugh at yourself sometimes, Burt. It's a joke about you!
