This movie is running face first into the writer's strike, and it's gonna suck.

I heard that because Reynolds is in the writers union, that bars him from ad-libbing on set. He has to read the script as written.

Well they are fortunate he wears a mask they can go back after the strike and edit the dialogue. Plus they'll spend endless amounts in reshoots if they have too.
