So, still haven't seen this (sorry Argo) but I've read some about it and haven't seen anyone mention why it's called Licorice Pizza. Then on a podcast the other day someone mentioned how that used to be a record store in LA back in the 70s. I think that's fun. Is that in the movie?
No, but PTA said it evokes nostalgia of the era for him personally. And it’s a much better title than Soggy Bottom.

I don't think so but I like the title anyway. It's evocative and fits the movie, captures a vibe
