Tried Inherent Vice last night, only my second time since the theater. Really didn't like it then. Found much more to enjoy last night, but about halfway through I was still totally lost so I turned it off.
I think the convoluted plot would be easier to discern if you could actually hear all of Joaquin's dialogue, but it's pretty tough at times.
I suspect I could grow to love this movie after 3-4 more viewings.

Just finished it. It makes perfect sense why this movie isn't very popular. It's perfectly its own thing. There's nothing wrong with it, but it's not for everyone. Not even me when I'm in the wrong mood. Right mood this time and it's great.

thats one ill re watch someday, i also tried to read the book, and its just impossible...so will see it just for the kicks but i wont try to follow the plot

Trag, use a waffle maker. Wayyy quicker, more convenient and even tastier, when you add in the recommended tbsp of Olive Oil and melt on some butter
