The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
They wheel Earl out on a gurney, and then a dog gets wheeled out on a gurney. Are we meant to think that Frank kicked the dog to death like he threatened he would when he entered the house?
If so, that is by far the funniest thing in the movie.

no, there's a shot of it eating the drugs that Julienne Moore got from the pharmacy

I'm rewatching all of PTA's movies before I see this new one (probably first week of January), and something funny I found is that one of my favorite things in both Boogie Nights and Magnolia is that Hoffman's acting in the background of shots is some of my favorite stuff in both movies.

his scenes in PDL are incredible too. That little shake he does when he and Sandler are face to face, it's such a god-tier actor move.

Meh. And it's not him, just the role itself didn't really require much to me. I think more than a few actors could play that role as effectively as him. I can't say that about much of any other roles he's had. And he is easily one of my very favorite actors.
