Check out the trailer for James Gunn's The Suicide Squad, the heavily rated R remake of 2016's Suicide Squad, the DC film that puts together the most dangerous incarcerated super-villains to form a defensive task force.
«Gunn looked to the 1980s Suicide Squad comics and war films for inspiration. As a standalone sequel, The Suicide Squad includes some returning cast members but tells a new story separate from the first film's narrative. »
It’s a sequel, but in the comic books there were two separate Suicide Squad main stories. Gunn preferred the second one, and so instead of a continuation sequel, it’s a standalone sequel.
- It's not a remake - It looks real dumb but I liked the part where the giant shark man tore the one guy in half - It's really funny how mad this made tree_
I'm glad Warner's moved away from Zack Snyder so they can have their own jokey Deadpool rip. Give the people what they want I guess. King Shark was kinda cool.

The Suicide Squad comics were super funny, violent and meta. Im expecting this to be what the previous movie wasnt. To be fair my problem with the first one was that awful cut. Its seemed Ayer got a lof of cool things we havent seen.
