What about the new Crow movie coming out on theatres ? Maybe they got it right this time ?
I don't feel they got it wrong with the first.
A modern retelling/reboot of the original comic series filmed outside the US. I will obviously reserve judgment until I see it and appreciate that they are keeping it pretty under wraps as I believe it is finished but why not have an original story? Sure the sequels weren't exactly stellar but the constant rehash is getting awfully tiresome. As evidenced by the additional comics, novels and short stories the source material was strong enough to warrant continuation and not just imitation.
Or the studios want to build a new universe sequel machine, Idunno; just personally off-putting. The television series attempted this but woof, that was a real rough go.

I have moderate hopes for the new Crow movie, I like Skarsgård
He can tap in to his character from The Devil All the Time just quote some Joy Division instead of scripture .

Glazer did not want the atrocities occurring inside the camp to be seen, only heard. He described the film's sound as "the other film" and "arguably, the film". To that end, sound designer Johnnie Burn compiled a 600-page document containing relevant events at Auschwitz, testimonies from witnesses, and a large map of the camp so that the distance and echoes of the sounds could be properly determined. He spent a year building a sound library before filming began, which included sounds of manufacturing machinery, crematoria, furnaces, boots, period-accurate gunfire and human sounds of pain. He continued building the library well into the shoot and post-production.

New trailer...what do you guys think? Harlin is a great director, but its been ages since he really brought something good. Also, im not sold on those scenes that are left from the original, but this being a trilogy could be interesting too.
