I'm a little worried about midnight club, that it might lean into stranger things a bit, but fingers crossed!

I'm 5 episodes in, The Midnight Club is fucking fantastic

it is a YA series, but I don't find its tone very Stranger Things at all; it definitely has its own identity

Hellraiser is not out in the UK! I'm gutted, but Midnight Club is softening the blow

Great night. Werewolf and Hellraiser were very good. Werewolf was super fun and Hellraiser took his time but really get there at the end.

Also , I did a rewatch of It part 2. He really did a good job with a very difficult part of the book and even if it’s too long ; I like it

I hope he re-edit the movie at some point and tell the story of the kids and grown ups apart like in the book and miniseries

yeah her return was excellent, and she really reminds me of Eve 6 (I think) from The X-Files, immediately creepy

honestly every performance here was amazing, I loved every one of these characters and felt so heartbroken when bad things happened to them

hard to pick a standout but Ruth Codd as Anya had me gripped immediately

First one was good. Iman Benson is great in the episode, I loved that she moved the character through that backstory without the trappings that usually flourish in 'teen' horror.

yeah, she is very compelling and i love that, so far, she is not the usual cancer victim. She has a purpose and is very driven.

Im half way the season and i love it.

yeah, but he only directs two episodes right? While his hand seems all over the scripts and design, i also feel the direcion would have been with him behind

not sure, he's the creator / showrunner; he's put his name to it

yes, the individual directors of episodes deserve credit

looks like there are 6 directors, 4 with 2 episodes each and 2 with 1

I rewatched Halloween Kills tonight. It's a very entertaining movie.

My local theater is playing The Thing on Wednesday. I'm definitely going to be seeing that.
