the first one was good..looking forward to tonights episode..nothing ground breaking but i can watch these type of shows all day if the host is a right fit..
we used to see him a lot at our local grocery store in the upper west side of NYC
Did he often seem to be lost, searching for the Italian foods aisle?
never...I always saw him at citarella...man do i miss that place..anyway, last night episode in Rome was good..need some cacio e pepe this week
on the UES the Citarella is on the corner and at one point it had an attached bar/resto on the adjacent side of the corner (under a different name). they had a dollar oysters happy hour every week, which I used to hit up often. one time I actually found a baby pearl inside. not sure what happened to it
we had a friend that lived by that one...been there a few times but always made the time to walk a couple blocks down to JG Melon for a burger and a drink

we taped last nights episode because we were busy..we wake up early this morning to watch the Bologna episode from last night which was taped but it also gave us the Florence episode which doesn't air until march 14th so we watched that incase it was some sort of mistake or something..did this happen to anyone else?

The Milan episode started off weak because it was in Milan. But it got better when they went into the countryside of Lombardy
i liked the episode but one thing pissed me off...when he was making food and the kid liked it and stanley said something about you're not saying that just because I'm famous....

Tried an episode the other night. It was fine? Tucci seems like a nice enough guy, but for me this lacks the soul, authenticity, and cultural insights of Parts Unknown. It’s, like, just a food show. Whatever.
