Just re-read that one last month. So much love. Feeling the itch to pick up Neverwhere for the upteenth time as well.

Have you read "The Ocean at the End of the Lane?"
Actually set my alarm clock for 3AM (midnight Pacific time) to make sure it was delivered to my Kindle. Amazing story, my new NG favorite.

Never where is amazing.
Didn't feel American gods at all.
Stardust is equally amazing.
I haven't read anything else of his.
His endless twittering about his every brain fart and bowel movement is extremely annoying.

I don't mind his own twitter, all the re-tweets bug me. lol.
I've read every novel, and the first Kindle compliation of SandMan.
Definitely give Ocean a shot, it's awesome.

Edit - Pretty quick read as well, especially for Gaiman. I finished it in 2 days working full time.

I loved Ocean. It was great. I'm not sure where it ranks, because I love all his stuff. Even the short stories.

Neverwhere is one of my faves. Did you hear the radio adaptation with Benedict Cumberbatch as the Angel Islington? Pantwettingly good.

I want them to do Anansi Boys next.

American Gods is great. As is Ocean and Neverwhere. Nothing he does will ever match the Sandman though.

I still think overall sandman is my favorite work by him.

I just read neverwhere and enjoyed that and i enjoyed american gods too.

I obviously have some more reading to do.

I'm hoping to get into one of his panels at Comic Con next week. fingers crossed.

I saw Dave McKean at London ComicCon on Saturday, but I was too shy to speak and went all fangirl and stoopid. Kicking myself now :shake:

Neil Gaiman tweeted that it wasn't true :(

Re: Neil Gaiman

he said the greenlit thing wasn't true, not the show itself. They make pilots all the time without making the show.

All and every televisual and cinematic adaptations of his work have failed sadly.
This isn't even in his top ten works. Hope it isn't true.

I love American Gods. LOVE IT.

The radio play of Neverwhere is apparently going to be released though. I loved that too.
