Watched the first season of The Flight Attendant. I'd like to check out the book now to see how much it differs from the series, and what would prompt a second season. I really liked it riiiiiight up to the end. I mean, it definitely left some things unanswered, but I'm not sure what else they could do with Cuoco's character.
Anyone else watch this?
I think I liked the end enough, but it definitely released some tension without adding much in terms of resolution. The alcoholic dad stuff was kind of belabored in the last episode. But it was fun.

seems these guys want to try and make a Harry Potter series. We have Marvel, DC, SW, Lord of the rings coming...why not?
seems to me they are pivoting towards a Netflix model: License a bunch of pre-existing content, dial back the investment in high-quality original programming.

The Undoing sure was uneven.
The wife and I finished this up on Saturday. It was offensively bad toward the end. They could have gone in so many more better directions than the obvious. And they certainly didn’t have to turn it into a remake of The Fugitive at the end. It went from a crime drama to a really bad action film.

Is anyone watching Scenes from a Marriage? The intro to each episode is a nice little gimmick. I find myself feeling floored at least once an episode. I admittedly love Oscar Isaac, so I might be biased.
