At its special March 2019 event, Apple announced Apple TV Plus, a brand new streaming service that, according to its CEO Tim Cook, "is unlike anything that's come before". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_original_programs_distributed_by_Apple_TV%2B This doesn't look that interesting so far. Wonder if it will struggle in competition with Prime, Netflix, HBO and Disney. |

I overheard two different conversations about this on Friday. Both were discussing how you need an iPhone to watch these shows. I think Apple is going to struggle to market this to the consumer that is used to Apple services only being available on Apple devices. |

It’s $6 dollars per month here for Apple TV+, or free for a year when you buy an Apple product. On Apple TV all apps are free, but of course if you want to watch Netflix, Prime, HBO, etc., you must buy a subscription with those. |
