You're too brilliant for such low brow humor.

I didn't say that.

Really you either love this show or you are on the wrong side of history. No in-between here, folks.

"Succession is bad but Danny McBride and Adam DeVine bickering about baptism technique is good" is some serious galaxy-brained shit, man.

Anyway I wouldn't make that comparison in the first place because they're radically different shows in terms of what they're trying to do. Watching TRG, I didn't wish it was more like Succession, but I did wish it was more like Barry.

Episode 4 might do it for you then.

See, that's what I came here for. Tell me more.

Just stick with it. There is clearly more weight to this story than just Danny McBride doing what he does.

This wasn't at all clear to me in the first episode, it just felt like Vice Pastors. But I'll give it another shot.

You're a brilliant man. You understand that sometimes it takes reading past the first chapter of a novel.

I've left more books unfinished than I've finished and it's not even close.

Part of being a brilliant man is knowing when to cut your losses. If I finished every terrible book or TV show I started, where would I be?

yea but after one episode?

Im messing. i get it. This is the problem with streaming TV and music. We are so inundated with content that we have lost our patience for anything less than brilliant. Our attention spans have become embarrassing. Its not all our fault either.
