Two more things that just came to mind, and I'm certain they're Raimi-isms:
- There's a moment right after Wanda first possesses her alternate universe self where she looks directly into the camera and it is chilling. She is so good in this
- The fact that during the movie's climax Dr. Strange has possessed his own decaying corpse and then uses the souls of the damned as props for fighting is actually pretty badass

I remember there being a red flash as one of the big stones fell, which I took to be her getting crushed and magic being released. I guess it could have just as easily been her teleporting out of there.

I took it as closer to the latter. I honestly don’t think her arc is finished. This was the end of her second act. Redemption will be the third act.

This was good but the trailer oversold it.
I'd hoped they would de-age Charles so we'd have X1 Prof. X.
America Chavez' was there. Never got invested in her. Kid actors I guess.
I was hoping to see multiple earths but we only got the one sequence when Chavez and Strange where rolling through different forms. Then they got to 838 and basically that's where the movie stays.
The Illuminati reveal was great. The slaughter that followed really took the air out of those sails.
Capt. Carter....*swoons* More please.
Then they go through a lot to get the Book of Vishanti....and never use it. Wtf.
I was really happy to see they found something for Christine here and what a great surprise that she works at the Baxter Foundation.
Olsen was a good villain , creepy at times. Very well done. I'm thinking 616 Wanda is still alive.
As for the post credits, this helped
And yes, Theron's outfit looked like cosplay.
