Ragnorak is a lot of fun. I don't know if it's a good movie but I think it's a ton of fun. I have no idea what to expect from this. The trailer didn't inspire much excitement.

I enjoyed it well enough but the drama to comedy ratio was way off. 95% comedy is too much and it comes across as a mildly enjoyable distraction as a result.
Mighta been my theater but it also seemed like the mix was off. Music, sound effects, dialogue, etc all muddled together.
Add a little more seriousness but keep the goats for the next one and they can easily return to form.

There's a moment in this that reminded me of a powerful moment in Top Gun Maverick. It did absolutely nothing for me here, other than make me wish I was watching Top Gun instead of this.
Wandavision - everyone loved it, including my wife who I watched it with. I had very mixed feelings, I liked some of it, but was ultimately left a bit disappointed. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier - mostly boring Loki - not a fan of this show Black Widow - free on Disney+ which I've got, but not yet seen What If...? - free on Disney+ which I've got, but not yet seen Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings - free on Disney+ which I've got, but not yet seen Eternals - fairly poor Hawkeye - superboring Spider-Man: No Way Home -best I've seen of the shows or movies listed here, but still just ok. What I remember most is how much my wife hated it, and she is usually more positive to Marvel than I am Moon Knight - very mediocre Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness - free on Disney+ which I've got, but not yet seen Ms. Marvel - free on Disney+ which I've got, but not yet seen
Going in I had mixed feelings, but the setup was great. Dinner with friends, had a cold soda with me going in, and the chair was just sublime, with a holder for the bottle, a tray, a recliner, with no one behind me to ruin the space for. What kind of luxury is this? Was not like this when I went to movies as a kid.
I thought the opening scenes with Christian Bale was superb, maybe the best in the whole movie. He was excellent throughout.
Once Thor got involved and Guns N'Roses was blasting through the cinema, the camp factor of the movie turned up to levels as yet unseen in Marvel, even beyond Ant-Man, Guardians Of The Galaxy and previous Thor. At that point you are either along for the ride, or you're not.
We all laughed at the goats.
By then I was just hoping he would go full tilt for the rest of the movie, instead we are dragged through cancer scenes and broken love tales, which were easily the worst of the entire movie.
The action was superb though. The Zeus scenes probably won't stand the test of time, but as 20 minutes in an energized cinema it was ok.
Towards the end the black and white action was great, the thing with the kids was fitting in the whole absurdity of it all, even funny at times, with the teddy bear.
All in all I enjoyed it, more than anything from Marvel since Endgame.
What I fear most from Marvel is being bored, Hawkeye style. Thankfully this was nothing like that.
