Saw it yesterday, i really liked it. Felt like a scifi movie from the 70s, the scope, the pace, the acting. Pitt was wonderful.

I'll tell you right now, I have never once in my life worried about Liv Tyler.

The pace was so calm and slow that it was almost relaxing.

Right?!

We're didn't agree on much but I think we probably agree on this. Maybe we each ultimately latch on to different reasons to dislike it, but I bet we end in roughly the same place. :heartbeat:

I really miss that dude.

So I watched this last week. Loved it. True sci fi about the human condition. Space was just a background and not thrown in our faces like "OMG look we're in space!". I loved Pitt in this role. The space scenes that were in it were beautiful. Especially the moon shots. And the baboons surprised me and that was an awesome scene.

The icing on the cake was that I got a text from LV this morning telling me how he really liked it too. I miss that guy.

This movie accomplished what Interstellar was trying to do but in much less time and a lot more precisely. I'm looking forward to watching again.

I hated this movie. But I love that Ruddo and LV both loved it (and talked about it together). That makes me happy and actually makes the movie better to me. :heartbeat:

Watched this last night, and it was...okay.

The biggest issue I have with it is when Pitt is trying to get back to the rocket/shuttle, and somehow managed to get through all the debris, and then got away as the nuke is going off. Too Hollywood of an ending. Too unrealistic. Everything else was good.

also, I never really introduced my self with proper message board etiquette, so here goes.
