Ok

Shake as I might, all the pigment ended up at the bottom of the can and now I have to sand down and re-do the last few boards which came out a totally different color

Stain of J was good.

Shake the Wrong Way was meh (two puns ... trying a little too hard IMO ... but serviceable)

But this? This makes me want to just finally quit RM for good.

I think the floor guy talked us into going with oak hardwood over LVP since the difference will only be a few grand. How bad is this gonna fuck up my world while it's being installed and finished? We're doing the whole house.

I mean, an acceptable answer MIGHT have been Dance Of The Behr Annoyance, but even then...

The city recently improved the curb on the corner, so of course they inspected the entire block and found that everyone's sidewalk needs to be repaired. Apparently they give you 30 days otherwise they contract it out and bill you for it.

Pretty sure this is more about the dozen or so $500 permit fees more than it is about ADA compliance. Can we convince the rioters that city works vehicles are racist so they can burn something down that will have a measurable effect on citizen's lives?

just had a plumber in here for the tankless install quote

he confirmed my suspicions that the '6 year' water heater tank in my basement is from 2001 and not 2011 like the home inspector indicated

hilarious

i have a 19 year old hot water heater in the basement, with a giant '6' on it

and since my A/C and Furnace are fully depreciated, but still operational, of course i am getting a quote on the up-sell whole-house HVAC upgrade

there are a lot of rebates

and i have 2-zone

but there is 0% financing

and i am mentally preparing for a $22K quote

oy vey

With that kind of dough, you could afford a genuine Matt Cameron drum kit
