The board's server will undergo upgrade maintenance tonight, Nov 5, 2014, beginning approximately around 10 PM ET. Prepare for some possible down time during this process.
Is there an access panel to the pipes and whatnot in the room behind the shower? Like our hall closet has a square of drywall we can remove to get to the bathroom plumbing.

Our old rental was supposed to have an access panel but our dipshit landlord had caulked it shut and also not put any insulation in that wall, so when our shower pipes froze we had no access to them. Very smart guy.

If you're wondering why the shower pipes ran through an uninsulated exterior wall such that you would even consider caulking the access panel shut, well, us too.

I'll have to nose though my closets before I shut off the main valve, but I don't think this tub has a shut off.

I can't imagine that being worth the cost.

I'm sure it would look fine for several years but does it start to fade or degrade over time? I'm picturing those rubber playgrounds and basketball courts. After enough time goes by they look faded.

I don’t need it to look perfect forever.
I do want the surface to perform and feel functional for a very long time though.
Biggest appeals in order: - no more dirt/mud tracked into house - it’s dry like 30 minutes after it rains - being dry right away will encourage kids to use it more often, rains a lot here - no more mowing or pulling weeds
