The slow drip doesn’t really help the inside pipes, it’s meant to keep water running so outside pipes don’t freeze. But if you are worried about the temp in your house, yeah you could leave cabinet doors open

you can also sing to your pipes, dress them in your clothes, paste googley eyes on them and tell them that you love them

eventually become so close to them that you gradually turn away from human life

one day move into the cabinets

close the doors behind you

and never re-open

Our HOA is actually making us vote on whether or not to force a family to repaint their house because the color is too loud. Fuck these people.

had a couple wobbly towel racks

just replaced them

quite a victory

earlier this week also replaced two sticky / broken (plastic part) light switches

it's amazing how the $8 fix-it project can be the most satisfying one

if i decide to stay in my current place i'd like to have some kind of covered back porch type thing built, preferably complete enclosed...not sure exactly how it could go in since it's a townhouse and one side is the wall of my neighbor

-replaced furnace filter
-replaced fridge water filter
-replaced broken handle on microwave
-replaced kitchen faucet and sprayer

One of the most productive weekends I’ve had in a long time.

I worked on a stump for a half hour or so. One day I'll get that thing out of my yard.

In all honesty I do applaud this effort. Feels good to get shit done. But the first three items on that list can’t have taken more than about 5 minutes combined.

The faucet/sprayer job is an annoying bitch, though.

Getting eggs from backyard chickens now. They aren't too much work, but this was supposed to be a hedge against supply chain interruptions. I don't even like eggs much.

*cartoon of guy poking (supply chain) with a stick. Go ahead, start failing
